alike 的 用法
一、alike的用法
基本词义：相似的,同样的(similar；like each other)
1）可以作表语.
如：
I always confuse the sisters:they look so alike.
我总是分不出这对姐妹,她们看上去简直一模一样.
二、alike的搭配
1.be / look / seem alike
例如：The children all look very alike.孩子们看上去都非常相像.
2.all / somewhat / remarkably / exactly / very / very much / much alike 例如：
I love you,Mary,because we are so much alike.
玛丽,我之所以爱你,是因为我们两个人很相象的缘故.
4.alike in
例如：
The twin brothers are alike in appearance but differ greatly in disposition.那对双胞兄弟外表相似,但性格却相差很大
5.alike to
At first all Roosevelt boys looked alike to us but quickly we sorted them out.起初,在我们看来,罗斯福所有的男孩子都长得很像,但是不久后,我们就可以区别他们了.
take after和look like的区别
take after和look like 是一对近义词组,它们的区别是：
1.take after意为“长得像,行为、性格等像”,尤其是像自己的长辈,可解释为be similar to.如：
Mary really takes after her mother.
玛丽的确长得像她的妈妈.
2.look like可以用于所有场合,既可指人也可指物,只指外表看上去像.如：
The man looks like our headmaster.
那个人看起来像我们的校长.
The photo doesn’t look like her at all.
那张照片看上去一点儿也不像她.
be like则是指 “品德,相貌”等,例如:
What is he like?他是个什么样的人?
like和fond的区别是什么
like和fond只在语法上和词性上有区别，like喜欢，是动词。 fond是喜欢的，是形容词

be fond of something
be fond of doing something
