韩国为什么不是叫南朝鲜呢
历史上,朝鲜半岛原为高丽,是一个统一的王朝。二战后,在三八线的划分下,原本一体的国家也由此愈走愈远,成了对抗的国家。
我们口中所说的南北朝鲜以及南韩国,这是在汉语圈子里所讲的,是对他们的英文所进行的翻译。实际上,在西方的圈子里,是没有这些符号上的区分的。
在南朝鲜独立后,更名为大韩民国,也就是现在的韩国。和朝鲜也已经是两个独立的国家了。因此,为了尊重独立的国家,承认双方的政权,将其称为韩国,而不是南朝鲜。
