有英语句子小弟不懂

1. that代表之前所说的diner，是代词。也可以用it来代替，只是作者用了that

2. comes是第三人称单数形式，所以前面要用this。到底为什么用this得看前后语境，有些不可数名词或者抽象的事物只能用单数形式来体现。比如有一个悲剧的事情在一个人吃饭的时候发生，这个事情就得用this来代替（不是所有的此类事物都要用this，鉴于你给出的句子所以这里用this）-diner

3. 对，这里是做形容词。如果硬要翻译，up没有实际意义，可以被省略，只表示那个人存在那里这个状态。如，what is up？最近怎样？
