philanthropy, caritas和fraternity都是博爱的意思吗有什么不同
philanthropy是慈善的那种博爱，这个词语由phil-和-anthropy两部分构成，意思分别是爱和人类，所以这个就是对人类的爱。
caritas就是拉丁文了，表示基督对人类的慈善的爱，比上面那个词多了宗教的意味。
fraternity则是兄弟之间的爱，fraternal就是指兄弟之间的。当然这也引申到一个群体中互相支持互相帮助的爱。美国大学有很多兄弟会，就是这个词语。
“scary”和“scared”有什么区别
scary：引起恐慌的（causing fear or alarm）用于形容事物
a scary ghost story 吓人的鬼故事
scared：惊恐的；恐惧的（frightened) 用于形容人
